BBF Bash (swap meet)

Post  bbf-falcon on June 19th 2014, 5:43 pm

Was over looking in the ForSale section and got a idea. (I know it's scary)Lots of members like DFree has some good parts forsale on the board. I was thinking maybe if whoever has the Bash next year could give us a Pre race day maybe on Thurs or Fri to whoever attends to bring their parts and vehicles FS and setup for a big swapday. It would help attendance also and all have a big feast that night. Just a thought. Idea

There was a "one year wonder" Ford race about 5 years ago at Norwalk which had a "parts swap" attached.

Good event however, the promoter didn't make a lot of money so it never happened again.

Hopefully our promoter won't need as much $$$$$ as bader did. If i remember right Randy,we had quite a few members show up that year @ Norwalk and we all had a Blast and ATE damn well too. Laughing
Hobbs even took home some $$$$$$$ as usual.

I'm down. Usually the Bash(es) have had some decent parts for sale. I know I've bought some stuff in the past.

Sounds like a great idea! I went to a swap meet this past weekend and all I saw was Chevy parts.  I puked once. Razz

That is a great idea. I had a truck load of parts in the Fun Ford event last week. It was a pain as I was racing and trying to sell at the same time. So the separate day to do that is awesome.
