I only had this in the car for a short period. It had a 429 with about 425hp in front of it. It may have 30 miles on it if that. I went to the current engine and a powerglide since then.

Here is what Jeg's lists as details on it.

Hughes Performance Street-Strip 3500 Stall Series Torque Converters are made for weekend racing and high performance street use. Each converter is brazed and features a strengthened sprag, special cut stator, and full needle bearings front and rear. Made in the U.S.A.

Features:
3500 Stall RPM
Silicon-brazed to increase strength
Front and rear needle bearings to ensure reliability
Premium sprag and specially-cut stator
Excellent torque converters for high-performance street use and weekend racing
Not for use in transbrake applications
Note: Stall speeds are approximate and will vary depending upon application.
