Yes a Liberty with a Ram 10" Billet clutch that Tim Hyatt Racing set up for this car. Not many BBF guys run a stick car with our group. I will get to leave at a much higher RPM than the old car. Can't wait to drop the clutch on this thing. Steve

Cool. Always thought a Liberty would be fun to drive, basically the same trans as a Pro Stock Car Right?

That's right, Limited Z transmission with a first gear 3.14-2.11-1.54-1.21 and 1.1 5th. Gona start with a 5.00 gear for the 1/8 and see where that put's me. Steve

I hope so, just row threw the gears. Most of the cars in the gearjammes pull 2nd way before the 60'.

Roy most of the hard work is done, need to airbrush on the headlights ect, paint the dash. Have it loaded in my trailer and waiting for the weekend. Make some hits and tune a bit, clutch and shocks. If I don't work this weekend? How's your ride coming? sounds good.

Re: Thunderbird Ricky Smith Tribute Car
Well made a few lap's this past Sunday. best pass of the day was 5.482 @125.57 1.183 60'.Still have some clutch tuning to do. The best pass in old car was 6.10 @114.00 so I picked up a little ove 6 tenths for 1150#. Not bad I think, still some left in it. I will say after two years out of the seat, dropping the clutch on this thing was . But it came back to me FAST. Steve
