End of an era. Took my black truck for a final ride.

Post  Wes Littrell on August 23rd 2014, 12:01 am

After 11 years I sold the old black 63. Just decided to move on. I enjoy my wooden race trucks better. I sold it as a roller, no motor, trans, third member, fuel pumps or electronics. Hated to see it go, almost like one of the family, but didn't want it just to set in the corner. It was the longest I ever had anything. Now to finish up my other projects.

Wow! I would've thought you would've kept that 'ol truck forever. LOL. The "wooden trucks" are your trademark though. Sometimes ya gotta move on I guess. I agree with ya, when you have a vehicle that long, it is like a family member. I've had my Falcon for 23 years,no way I could sell it. LOL

It was a great truck to watch. I should have bought it to join the Straight Axle Mafia in KY!
