Homemade Flow Bench

Post  STR-LGL-70 on October 25th 2014, 10:13 am

Anyone here made their own flow bench ? I have found some sites online for this, just looking to see if anyone here has done it.
I'm moving my glass shop into a bigger building & there is a 3 phase dust collection system there from when the previous co used to build wood doors. Looks to be 5 HP motor w/huge cast alum impeller/vacuum section attached. I've looked online @ similar ones & they pull 1200CFM.

The homemade stuff works, but it's tough comparing your results with other data.
