I'm thinking about putting this motor in my 77 step side short bed truck.

It's a lil heavier than a tube chassis Pinto, but will make a killer sleeper ...but we need pics!
Big bearing/bolt everything and easy to narrow when more tire is desired...plus I just like them

Its a frpp balancer it is external balance all 460 balancers are zero balance if its internal it just has a bushing behind it if its external it has the hatchet that goes on the snout behind the balancer.

This is the ol truck I'm not much for older stuff but it seems like the more I drive it the more I like this ol truck it has a small block in it right now

Got the water pump in last week and mocked up I also got a dizz coming so its getting closer not much more.

Are those your shop logo'd valvecovers,I like the intake lettering highlites too. Get her done that tang needs to be yanked from the pavement it been relaxing for too long!

I drove it to day 1st and 2nd gear haven't got it to high gear yet.... I'm going to try and get some passes in a couple of weeks. Need to get some 29-10.5 slicks cause most tracks won't prep for a radial on T.N.T night
Sorry to hear about the big block car is it something minor or you not sure yet.
Edit: the trans is working flawless no flair so far I haven't really give it alot yet

Not sure ? I am guessing a burned piston or blown head gasket with some bearings down . Oil psi starts out cold @ 80 then drops rapidly the longer it runs and then stabilizes at 10 psi at idle around 195* coolant temp.
