547 sold

My engine is a 547, all parts were bought from Lem Evans and engine was built by Jet Boat Bob.
Block- Ford Motorsports A-460, current bore is 4.5
Crank- Scat Forged, 4.3 stroke, Rods are eagle forged H-beams with 2000 upgrade,
Jon Kaase oil pump, Diamond custom pistons, Comp Cams roller cam and lifters, (I have two cams that go with it) cam in engine is 728/728 – 286/292, 114 LS this was for a vaccum class of 15 inches at 1000 rpm, the extra cam is 728/728- 308/316, 110 LS.   Crower stainless roller rockers, 1050 dominator, victor intake (ported by Jet Boat Bob) Moroso racing pan rear sump part number 20614. Heads are the D0OE-R (also ported by Bob)and have jomar studd girddle, I can’t find my flow sheets at the moment but they were flowed at .700 lift  372/214 with no pipe. Ford racing tall polished aluminum valve covers, MSD dual pick up dist. Engine is still in the truck and can be heard. Any questions just call any day around 3:30 pm central time, I work a swing shift and at that time I will be up or at work. I live arond Benton Kentucky about eight miles from Kentucky Dam.  270-339-5225
6000 or I will keep heads and take 4500.
This was a mud drag engine ran 100 foot passes.

What I think I was told, it was 14-14.5, The diamond pistons are flat top and the D0OER heads are apx 72cc.

If the compression ratio was about 11.5:1 and ran on 93 pump gas and i had $4,500 it wouldn't be for sale any longer!!!! Smile Smile Smile

Thanks for the pics, one sweet looking ride. My dad had a Falcon when I was little back in the 60's.

4.50 bore with a 72cc chamber and flat tops should be way less than 14:1.

Does the bore size make that much difference? My 4.42 is around 11.5:1

Deck height and gasket thickness matter also.

I would guess around 13:1

Thanks guys, I don't realy need the money for anything, not that my wife and daughter can't find something they need. lol:
I just don't need this any more so why not pass it on to someone that can use it.
