Dove heads valve size

Are 2.224/1.75 valves to big for dove heads? The motor they will be going on is a very high compression 460, which leads to my next question. What pistons are available that would give me 14-15:1 compression in a dove headed 460?

on the valve size I cant honestly answer that question but on the pistons to get that compression i think your gonna have to go custom.

Any combination of valve head diameter sizes equalling 4" or less will fit.

If Carl still has these... they will be close to 14:1 1 set: +10cc dome tops, +.080, OEM reliefs, 1.770CH

I have a set of JE 0.060" over domed 460 pistons with pins and locks. Tops are polished already. These would give you the compression that's for sure. Send me a PM and we can talk if you're interested.
