Thank you............... For years all you saw in shelf cams was like the first worked good in a 355 chevy with a close ratio Muncie in 1970.

But sux on a ford core in any ford engine.

Just showing that a bigger cam can out perform a smaller one if ground correctly.

None of these things know what they are....Marketing departments did that. What they all are is air pumps. CID and RPM create the demand. Induction and Exhaust are potential to power. Cam is the brain that makes them work.

In the last 4 years we been working on Diesel stuff. I did not care what the OEM's did on camshaft as I followed my thinking....air pump just in constant detonation. Well my PowerStroke cams are smaller than OEM stuff on duration and exhaust but have a drastic valve event change. I have a 6.4L that makes 1152HP and 1800#/ft

I working with Swamps on the 7.3 stuff. Bone stock 6.0 with stock injectors and turbo a camshaft change nets 100#/f more torque 800 rpm sooner and equal amount of HP 900 RPM sooner. EGTs are 300 degrees cooler. Fuel mileage increase of 29%. Cam only change.

Can you make a 7.3 cam do the same deal?

Pretty impressive, like Blake said can you do that with a 7.3? I have a 96 with 150k miles that I bought new.

The Powerstroke, Cummins and Duramax average increase with stock tuning has been 50HP and 100#/ft. I have no reason to believe the 7.3 will be different.

You are getting to the point of being a ridiculous nuisence here.
SO, spend the money, build an engine, or two or three or four, and do some dyno testing yourself.
I know Blake has and Chris has so, you can believe what they say but, you have absolutely no idea except for what you have read or have been told.

If you want to see some dyno tests ... shut up and do them yourself.

I am saying this in the nicest possible way.

I have run quite a few Fords and Chevy's with many different cams over the years but, your right it was mainly the race track dyno and the street that they where tested on but, and only a few chassis dyno pulls. I'll stay out of your little custom camshaft powwow's and let you guys carry on, usually avoid them anyway.

Worked for John with Roy and Joe Terpstra, Greg Good in the mix too. Got a little idea about Camshafts, never claimed to be an expert. Interesting that Camshafts made it to the Texas Supreme Court on this deal.

This has little to do with camshafts and a lot to do vexation.  You offer all kinds of menial information and other website links but, want everyone else to spend the money and do the actual work to acquire up to date factual data.

It's you turn to do some of what is necessary to know what you are talking about with any authority at all.

Don't just talk about it ... show us.
