429 CJ Oil Pan

Post  XEngr on April 3rd 2016, 2:03 pm

Original pan, baffle has vibrated loose and cracked apart from the pan on the drivers side, will need welded.  Rest of pan is as removed, that is dirt and oil on outside, some rust.  No dents.  $100 plus shipping.

What years, and cars does this pan fit? Do you have the pick up for it?

The pan is for 70-71 Torino and 71 Mustang CJ and SCJ, and their Mercury equivalents. I'm not sure if I have a pickup for this pan, its supposed to use the dual entry oil pump and I'd have to research if its still available.

I would be putting this engine into a 1970 Torino Ranchero. It would be great if you had a stock front sump pick up for it. Where are you located?

Does anybody know the original poster of this ad? I've been trying to work a deal with him, but he seems to have dropped off the face of the earth!
