Dodged a bullet...

Since everyone else is breaking parts before the Ford Race..

I was suppose to go racing this weekend, but had to work Friday and didn't get everything done in time..
Since weather outlook called for rain, I figured I'd do "more in depth" maintenance on car...
As I was checking spring pressures... I found this........



Broken inner spring...
Could have gotten ugly in a hurry.....

How many runs and who's spring? I had the same deal but they were beat on a long time.

I "think" they are Manley Nextec..
They were on motor when I got it from Oakley.
About 80 passes worth..

That's what mine were but more like 250 passes. Laughing sometimes I think it's just bad luck,or good bad luck when you catch it like this.

Thanks to Lem , I have new springs...
Called him on a holiday weekend and he made sure they shipped out first thing Tuesday..
They were on my porch when I got home Wednesday..
