If I jigged up to make some of these, how do you think they would sell? I'm talking a bolt in chromoly k-member conversion to use fox struts with all directions and templates.

It will include:
K-member
A-arms
Spindles
Rack
Bump steer kit
Springs
Choice of struts
Caster camber plates

Probably sell in multiple levels of completeness.

They won't be cheap but if you have seen our work you will understand the quality. I'm building one for my maverick and it'll be a 25.2 chassis. I plan on putting a 700+ inch motor in it.

If you can keep the price in somewhat a reasonable amount I'd think it would be good. Most of the old cars need major work when considering restoring or racing so IMO it would have a good market. Cool

I'm just not a fan of the mustang 2 design and besides the junky aje kit, thats all that's really out there.

I would be interested in that. The Aje junk struts on mine don't have enough travel and are tight. No adjustable. Problem is the bottom of the strut sits over the ball joint in the spindle. No place for an adjustment knob so I feel like I'm screwed. I'll have to replace the spindle setup to put an adjustable on it.

Could you get the kmember moved out in front of the pan instead of under it also?

Long overdue IMO. Old Chevies have had this kind of stuff for years.

I think it would sell. Just need to advertise it.

Any chance you guys fab up a kit to tube the front of a Fox body from the strut tower forward?

I actually can. We would rather have it connected to the cage inside the car but we've had a lot of people ask us for something that went straight to the strut tower instead. I guess we need to build what people want. Lol

Absolutely. We were planning on offering two versions of the k-member, one traditional win a pinto rack and one out front with a stilleto rack.

I believe you will have a market for this for sure, I have been looking at options for a while, and of course better price options bigger market. The ability to configure the package differently greatly expands the market also. I would look at different spindle options, shocks/springs, power and manual and a few brake packages too. Another plus is there are far less engine compartment/suspension configurations that most know for this era, you can tell by their marketing, most exclude cars that have the same setups and dimensions Rolling Eyes

I really never thought about doing this because a lot of guys like you just fab something up. I just keep seeing more and more people asking for different things to save time that I wouldn't mind filling that market if it'll sell.

i agree people are looking to save time but IMO you'll find less people with the skills to do their own work. I've also figured out with age and experience that sometimes it's far less trouble to skip that "diy" and pay for the parts! Basketball

x2 Also, even guys like me that have a car with a chassis guy, he may have never worked on an early Mustang/Falcon/Mav and would appreciate a kit that works the first time with templates, etc.
