Billet 4.5 stroke cranks

Crower Billet Cranks - NEW

I have two billet cranks , for 2200.00 each.
Center hung weights. chevy rod journals

These are regularly 3K or a tad more.

I have a used Crower crank under the bench. I had no idea that they cost 3k new!
Can you explain the center hung weight issue?
