That is great news. Glad to hear it is working out great for you. Have you done any data logging yet?

Very little because I only have a few inputs.

I am going to connect the wideband to it this week.

First trip to the track was a success despite some incoming thunderstorms.  Only got 2 passes in before we bugged out.

Car ran it's best ever et in Amarillo, 10.65 @ 126.4, 1.51' 60' (foot brake).  I didn't check the DA, but can't imagine it was very good considering the baro drops when a storm is approaching. I'd guess it was 5-6000+'. Ignition worked awesome and a semi-hot lap with 2 degrees more timing was a 10.66 @ 126.9.  The second pass was a 1.53 60' with a small lean spike stumble right at the hit.  I think the spike was the result of heat soak because it was similar to what I have experienced using winter blend gas in the summer.  I bought gas at a different station the last time and it was only 90 octane to boot.  Being able to datalog and change ecu settings with my Android phone is FABULOUS.

The rich problem I had turned out to be 2 gummed up air bleeds.  Fixed them before I went to the track.  Connected the MAP and O2 to the MS and was able to get some good data from those 2 runs.

Chassis seems to be working decent. Front tires are just barely coming off the track and the rear seems to stay neutral.

That great news to hear! Are you planning on adding any more sensors to it?

Not right now. I think I will just play with it like it is for now.

Datalogging is pretty freakin cool.   It's sooooo much easier than trying to watch/remember, etc.

Looks like I have been short shifting 2nd all this time.  I'm only in it for 2 seconds on both runs. I'm in high for a full 5 seconds. That's half the run!

Cool. What do you weigh in race trim? Have you calculated HP?

At the line it is a little over 3400lbs. I have never messed with hp numbers mainly because our DA is so typically awful. It's normally in the 6000 to mid 7000 foot range. It is fun however, to see guys that normally run at sea level come here and wonder why their car is suddenly molasses slow. haha

Idk.  Closest I ever get is Thunder Valley in Noble, Ok.  10.38 @ 131 was the best it ran there last time.  On that trip, the HEI coil was starting to take a dump, getting slower and slower and I wasted my tuning time trying to figure out why it was missing on the top end.  Finally swapped coils and bam went 10.40 @ 130 in the BuickVFord finals with no miss.   The last motor used to drop an easy 0.5 second just from the elevation change.  It only managed to run low 10.90's in Amarillo.

Cool. So I assume you're hitting Drag Week again?   Best of luck.  Always follow yours and Bill Fowler's exploits.
