MSD Pro Billet Distributor Part#8577

MSD Pro Billet Distributor, mechanical advance, magnetic pickup. I used this with a crank trigger. Brand new at Summit its $295. $150 + shipping. Save $145. Nothing wrong at all with it, I just went with a front drive distributor so I have no need for this one. If you want the spark plug wires also just add another $25.

Can the weight kit be purchased for this or does it come with it. Do you still have this and wires for sale?will this work with an msd 6al?

No I don't have the weight kit--I used it with a 7AL and a crank trigger--so the distributor is locked out so no matter what rpm, amount of advance always stays the same depending on where you rotate it to. For me, I ran it at 30 degrees total, locked, with the crank trigger.   For application I would call MSD to verify you can use it based on what you want to do.  Part # is 8577.

Ok, sounds great to me.

I'll look up the shafts diameter and go pull mine out in the morning to double check they match, since I understand there are two possible diameters.

One more question, it appears to have the correct bronze gear for a roller cam already installed, is that correct?
