Traveling and Trading

Had a good day traveling with my son and oldest grand son to Wards home and doing some trading today.
Great guy  to hang out with and a lot of cool projects as well as having a nice family.

One downside I couldn't call him like I told him I would because there is literally no cell phone service at his place or surrounding areas. ( cell service was hit and miss ).

Thanks Ward for the day to do some trading and hanging out. Also thanks for helping us repair and change the flat tire on the trailer.

There's no shortage of cool projects at Ward's place.

It seems like Ward had a lot going on when I there a few years ago. Definitely a nice guy.

Enjoed the company myself. I love hanging out in the shop and working on projects. Next time if your not in a rush we will hit the BBQ Joint.

I have the ol motor and trans out. It needs a little rubbing to get in shape to run. It has no trick parts but it used to get down the road/track at decent pace. Nothing like racing with 1980's technology !! It was a fun little street car. Put many a Real Mustang and Camaro in it's place.
I know it's not fast by todays standard but it ran 8.00 on street tires in the 80'S and I drove it everywhere. there were no drag radials then.
I have raced the thing on Friday night in Birmingham AKA Lasiter Mountain, drove to Atlanta and tuned donuts in the middle of Peachtree st. some time in the wee hours of the morning.
If this car could talk I would have to put it to sleep. I have owned it since 1985. I'm looking forward to getting it back on the road!

I really don't have have any good pictures of it. The only pictures I have of it are old Kodak 's. it's been a long time since it has been out. It has been in my shop safely packed away. It is in pretty decent shape it has been kept in the dry it's entire life no matter what it took It has no rust white red stripes with factory T Tops. Dang I have to get the so called pro mod finished so I can on the cobra II
