351c valve options Empty 351c valve options

Post  torino501 March 9th 2017, 2:07 pm

After much soul searching and wearing my computer out. I've decided to pull the heads on my 351c 2v engine and replace the multi groove valves with some single groove one piece valves. The prob is I can't find any valves that are a non race oriented price. The builder grade are all multi groove... some people are saying to use a Ford 400M valves... some are multi grove also. I'm not setting this little engine on kill. Just gonna cam it and cruise. But going to the one piece single groove valve opens up a lot more cam options.

I have always used a 1.710" diameter 4 barrel head exhaust valve when getting new valves for those 2 barrel heads.;
S.I. #SEV-2806.
I use them in a lot of 429/460 heads as well.

Yes ... I still deal with them for most valves.
