Fox body gas tank and fuel pump
My 1984 mustang had the fuel injected carb on it. It looked like a 2 barrel carb with 2 big injectors mounted on each side of it. Not sure of the official name of those, but they are fuel injection. I found what I think is the fuel pump mounted on the passenger side right between the rearend and the passenger rear floor pan. Is their no pump in the tank?
I was wanting to keep the original tank and run new 3/8 fuel line from the tank to the mechanical holley fuel pump on the engine. Let me know if I have to buy a new gas tank or not to run a carb on my 460?

if it dosent have wires connecting to it most likely that is the fuel filter.

I also think that might be a fuel filter,i think somebody makes a pick up to bolt in place of the stock in tank fuel pump.I used a sump in my tank and just capped the tank off where the fuel pump went in.I think you should be ok with that pick up if you can find one somewhere.
