I have a 428 CJ going in an F100 that has all the Mallory stuff ran so we're looking for Mallory Unilite to allow for plug and play. Let me know if any of you have one laying around that you wouldn't mind parting ways with for some green.

Wasn't the distributor that came with it is a stand alone MSD?

yes it is, but rather then rewire for the initial start we are trying to find a unilite as that's what it's currently wired for in the truck. I believe he said it's a three wire with a ballast resister in the truck, which was plugged into mallory unit in the past. I haven't seen under the hood and won't for another 10 days when i'm back there again. I would actually prefer to use the MSD unit, but he is doing me a favor installing the motor and trans and wants the easy way.

Well looks like we talked the guy into wiring up a 6AL box and using the MSD dizzy....anyone got a nice 6AL box around?

appreciated brother... i wound up buying a new one.. i'll update the post

On the good news of things the truck is getting pulled into the stall this weekend and the motor and trans install process is getting started. The plan is in August drive it back out to SoCal on Route 66 with my Dad.
