Pro systems SV1 problems

It's 110mm blade flow 1200cfm. When it gets to that rpm it's almost like the engine stalls.... This is only under wot. Any ideas?....  I've made 4 passes on it so far and it stumbled every time... Put my Holley 1000 with annular boosters on and it runs perfect and feels way stronger.... If I can figure out how to upload my passes from my GoPro you can watch the engine stumble.... That's my point they are more of a race car thing IMO. Kinda like trying to run a Rons toilet on a grocery getter.....

we dont have a prob with them ON STREET CARS, unless the engine does not move enough air for one , as in HP.

why not run an SV1?.... When I talked with Patrick I gave him all my specs and told him it would be a street/ strip car. I'm sure if he didn't think it was a good idea to run an SV1 he would have steered me in a different direction... let's no forget a boss 429 was a detuned race engine!

You missing the point, Real race cars a generally not operating like a street car or running as low as your having problems at.

I'm not saying anything bad about Patrick, i like the guy, but the SV1 carbs just don't work on everything from what I've seen over the years

He runs a Prosystems SV1. His car seems to run very well on the street and track.

Perhaps pick his brain on the set-up for his SV1.

I understand.... I'm willing to buy a dominator be it another pro systems or quick fuel... I spent a lot of money on this carb was just hoping to make it work on my application is all. I did a lot of research on these before I bought it and all the stuff I read said how clean and crisp the throttle response was...

Call Patrick up he's always willing to help, like I said earlier probably just needs some tuning

thanks for the tip!.... My mustang is at about 3800lbs... Fastest trap speed so far on my GPS is 131 at the airport we drag at they don't have timing equipment yet. That's with the carb acting up. It's a no prep race so I gotta leave soft to keep from blowing the tires off it

I've had an SV-1(95mm 1100cfm) on my 545ci street car for 7 years and it has done everything I asked for out of the box, have tried a few changes but end up back as Patrick built it. Patrick has always been happy to offer me assistance via direct contact or many forms of social media.
I only get to race a couple of days a year and average around 5000 miles a year cruising.
The only thing I've found is they are sensitive with fuel pressure and float settings, do you have a fuel pressure gauge in the car?
