New 2018 Mustang GT runs 11's....bone stock on factory tires

I know this is a BBF site, but some of you guys might be interested in the late model stuff as well.

It's amazing what Ford has done with the 2018 models....namely the ones with the 10 speed automatic trans.
Power is up across the board on the Mustangs and F150 pickups.

Most of the A10 Mustang GTs are running low 12's. The one in this video is the first I have heard about to run 11's bone stock. (It probably has the 3.73 rear gears )

A bone stock GT base model with 3.15 rear gears are running 12.20 and quicker.

And for the F150 guys, the quickest 2018 F150 I have seen so far with a 5.0 engine is 13.23.
This owner ran 13.46 bone stock but came back later after putting some miles on the truck and ran 13.20's

Nice even though it spun it still ran a 11.83 and broke the tires loose going into 2nd gear!!!

Sounds like a motor cycle changing gears............ good mph too.

I agree...the mph on the 2018 Mustangs are good.
There have been 3 other stock 2018's tested and the slowest was 116 mph.

Here's another soft launch and 119 mph: ( @ :13 )

This car is a 2018 manual trans 6 speed with the new dual disc clutch.  ( 4th gear is now 1:1 )

Stock ( 3.55 or 3.73 )gears in the rear. Bone stock except for the rear drag radials and non rear stock wheels.

Ran 12.0x if I recall correctly....( dynoed @ 430 rear hp on 93 and stock tune )

Torque...this video ( @ 2:33 ) shows how wide and flat the torque curve is on these new 12 to 1 compression Coyote engines are.
That, plus the 10 spd. auto allowing the engine to stay in it's  power band allows the impressive acceleration numbers from a naturally aspirated 302 engine.

The manual trans 2018 GT also pulls hard and it only uses 4 speeds in the 1/4

That's a low 11 sec car with stickies and a sub 1.5 second 60'...
