Finally got it back together went with the c460 cam 3rd pass ran a 6.97 at 98 and still just leaving easy off idle im still playing with the susp. gonna shave a few more tenths off when she hooks

a unit like this will get into the tens quite easily....I drove a friends '91 w/ a mild 460 @ 6.28 in the 1/8th....keep at it...I put the ol' RatPoison Galaxie @ 155 in 8.71 @ Famoso...what a ride !!

It has probably been mentioned already but isn't that carb TINY for this application? I though you had o almost double your fuel supply when switching to E85? Heck, most small block people runnign E85 around here are running a 950-1050 carb.

The carb is a Lil small but I wanted it streetable it ain't a race car lol
E85 takes 30 % more fuel it's still runs good with the small carb may go bigger later

I'm gonna try to race it for the first time this weekend in a modified street class This will b my first race

Well since I got the enigine back together with the new cam it burnt the transmission up (stock c6) bout the 5th pass
So pulled it out getting it built
Sent my converter to ptc they said it was so old and screwed up they don't know how it was making it down the track so I ordered a new custom 10" so hope it picks up a good bit
And also installing a 10 point cage and harnesses

Finally got the S&W cage tacked in it looks good but I discovered that learning how to mig weld on a cage is not the best idea lol but I'm figuring it out. Got my converter in should b back and better than ever in a couple of weeks

O yeah the seat cross member in the second pic is unlevel it's Just sitting there it's now level

Really don't have any close ups some look good like stacked dimes and some well a good bit looks like bird crap lol I'm gonna grind down and re do them everything is just really to tight to make a good weld

I hope so I need all the help I can get for that mod class at the shootout I need a few tenths and a 100 shot lol
