Well, the baby didn't show up yet so we made it out to the track last night. Let me preface this with saying friday nights at MCIR there are alot of street cars and it was pretty hot and very humid so the track wasn't at its best. made two easy trips down the track car went nice and straight, but even trying to roll into the power once i got to about 1/2 throttle it wanted to skate around. We tried on the 3rd run to launch it, but it made a hard and instant move to the right so i coasted the rest of the track. then we pack up and went home. all in all we accomplished everything we wanted to and we are ready to get some serious test done (probably at norwalk on the 9th of july)

You need to get someone to video your runs so we can see and hear it run.

my wife did get this one video, but it was just with her camera. next time will try to remember the video camera so the definition will be a little better.

got some testing in at muncie, IN last weekend. We quickly found out the converter is way too loose. it went a 5.16 @142 in the 1/8th. i had the shift setup of 7300 RPM and it would hit that and shift 0.8 seconds into the run. So, we took the converter out sunday afternoon and will have the right one(hopefully) here wednesday, just in time to test friday night and get ready for my licensing runs tuesday and wednesday. We've got our fingers crossed the converter will be right and the car will run faster than a 7.50 so i can get my advanced ET lic.

It was nice meeting you last Saturday....I must say, pictures and videos do not do that car justice...it is absolutely bad-azz. Cool
Are you gonna' make your license runs at Muncie? If so, I might come out to watch.
Either way, nice car, good luck with it.

it was very nice meeting you too. sorry we weren't more talkative, but trying to figure out that it was the converter had us deep in thought, haha.

no, were are doing the licensing at norwalk. We are going to try to go friday and run some 1/8th mile test passes and see if we can sneak in to the back of door wars. then tuesday and wednesday we are going to frank hawleys for some learnin' and licensing.

I didn't think a thing about it....I know how it is, trying to get a new combo sorted out....not much time for small talk...lol.
Norwalk would be my first choice too...love that place. Good luck with it and get some more video for us. Cool
