Denny wrote:I want to thank Rich @ Circle R racing for helping me build my A441 hemi headed motor. Rich really knows the Boss 429 engines and is a great resource when builing one, I encourage anyone building a Ford hemi engine to get in touch with him. His tag name is BOSS429 and is a member on the forum. My engine came back from dyno with north of 950 hp on 92 octane pump gas. ( I am not going to disclose the build specs but Rich knows them) I am currently working with Rich on a nascar Boss 429 engine for street use, I am a rookie at building high hp engines and Rich guided me thru all the tough stuff over the phone.

Now I have to stuff this engine in my T-bird for racing season ( no high dollar race gas this year)

Thanks...
Denny

its all in how the manifold was made. it looks short, and it is by most std's. But most important this engine really likes it.

These boss motors are almost like cheating they make so much power. A friend of mine built a 547 this summer for a customer, 10.2:1 street motor with Kaase heads and intake, mild street roller and It made 875 hspr.

That's the important thing. As long as it works, who cares how long they are. It certainly looks like a nice manifold. Did you guys fab it or who did? Cool

Wow... beautifull engine... something about a boss headed bbf that just stands head and shoulders above all other engines.

I hope to have a boss engine someday

I hope you or anyone else that wants one gets one, start by gathering small parts first, youll get there, heads are kinda high but the curb apeal is something else, and then the power that you can make is a plus.

I get calls, and emails a lot about putting boss heads on reg blocks ,( WHICH BLOCK CAN I USE?),It can be done to any bb ford block, and any of the boss 429 heads can be used, JK'S,TM'S C9'S D0'S ANY of them can be installed on any block... d9 c8,do d1 ,svo etc.
