Seeing the kind of hp and rpm that the Scat forged stuff is being used in from guys here, I'd put their cranks up against the other brands any day. Cool

460 crank

Post  Mark Laczo on February 24th 2011, 12:55 pm

Too bad you didn't live closer I would just give you a stock 460 crank, I got quite a few laying around. Maybe you should head to an wreckers and buy a core with all the accessory brackets and such then you will have some spare parts.

This is an OLD thread from when I first joined here man Laughing I got a crank from my machinist, great price already polished up. I found out that he actually goes to RO-DY for all his cranks and crank grinding. So mine was done by RO-DY already, right around the corner from me. My crank is an OEM internal balance 460 crank Cool I feel safe with it for what I'm doing.

Yes its going to be 550hp and 650ft-lbs, but its going to be street driven. Plus I don't like the idea of buying ANY used crank, I don't know how hard it was beat on.

Somebody mentioned you should listen to the builders on here, they won't steer you wrong.
