I like the hilborn style too, what is so bad about the scoop deal? Are they just a deal like the main gridles, just a waste of money? I will admit they do look like a PITA to setup.

Yea I am going to run the hydroboost, I have aerospace drag brakes up front and in the back, It all works good.
Don't kill me but the valve covers are pro comps...
Those were the only plain aluminum ones I could find to paint. They are 4 1/2 in tall and they clear the hydrobooster.

Well I have been working on and alternator bracket, got it done and now I got my d&d headders I am fitting in the car. 2 1/8 is no joke with a factory k-member. I took the headders and cut them to bolt the tubes on one at a time. I also found some serpentine pulleys off a 460 truck I am using. Have to put some clamps on today and I will be able to give some good detailed pics of the motor tonight. I hate having a delay, but I also love the challenge to be able to build things with my bare hands.

Re: My Bullitt Beast
Well got a little more finished. I can't believe for a week I was checking all the engine dynos to see if I could get on it. Go figure I need a bell for them to use. I set my lash, checked all bolts and double checked again. So it is going in the car this weekend and I am going to start it and get this thing going. Atleast we have a chaissy dyno here. I am going to put a good conservative tune on it and drive it around to break it in. All I need is my built tranny back to be complete. Here is some more pics of the complete motor. I am going to stick it in the car starting tomorrow. If weather is nice I will get full pics of everthing to see.
