Yea not sure about switching to alky but is tempting. I have a good feeling where the compression is on this thing running it on pure race gas would have picked it up also, how much hard to say. We run these things on the dunes so alky might not be all that easy to keep in the tank. Hey Norm I will still have to spray a 300 hp shot to keep up with you and Joe Embarassed

We put alky on the little 85 Chevy p/u..............9.5-1 pump gas motor that was tunned on the dyno wityh the gas set up, it picked up a solid 4 tenths in change in the 1/8, The truck is heavy, tight converter, 3.70 gear....it really liked the extra torque.

Richter I have a feeling my heap could benefit from the torque also Laughing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfMU4qdJloA This was befor I had Lem get me fixed up with some new valves and valve job on the streets, which picked the heads up alot and with the small headers.

well, i think a 300 shot is a good idea. as far as keeping up with me and joe, joe's the only one you have to worry about.
