Thanks Lem, Got me thinking how it would of done befor the head work we had done
on alky

On alky the blip really showed up and dropped 3 hp any ideas I was thinking maybe valve float?

IMO APD makes the best alkly carbs.

It has Scat h beams in it with a srp pistons, block has never been decked so they're in the hole a fair amount. Thanks, Pat...

Yea not sure about switching to alky but is tempting. I have a good feeling where the compression is on this thing running it on pure race gas would have picked it up also, how much hard to say. We run these things on the dunes so alky might not be all that easy to keep in the tank. Hey Norm I will still have to spray a 300 hp shot to keep up with you and Joe

We put alky on the little 85 Chevy p/u..............9.5-1 pump gas motor that was tunned on the dyno wityh the gas set up, it picked up a solid 4 tenths in change in the 1/8, The truck is heavy, tight converter, 3.70 gear....it really liked the extra torque.

4 tenths?! thats insane! i think i know now what fuel my big blocks going to be burning now

Richter I have a feeling my heap could benefit from the torque also

well, i think a 300 shot is a good idea. as far as keeping up with me and joe, joe's the only one you have to worry about.
