The difference you'll see would be... The plate will hit harder then a direct port system. The direct port system will run the second half of the track even better then a plate (double the number of solenoids), the direct port system can be tuned per runner as needed (and is usually needed on a Ford the larger you go), the direct port may cost a little more up front, but save in the long run...

As for the Nitrousaurus, I have seen someguys use them. They seem to do the job but are kind of bulky..

As for nitrous supplier, I've heard some little company Induction Solutions doesn't do to bad of a job. Wink Thanks, SJ

Both. If you have to use one or the other I prefer the plate for 1/8th mile, and the fogger for 1/4. I use the NX fire and ice heater and it works pretty good. Heats a cold bottle from 650-1000 in about 20 mins and keeps it there all day. I get to the track flip the switch and never worry about it. Its always at 1000 everytime i check.

Good Sense or Nonsense?

Post  511Fox on Sun Mar 28, 2010 12:38 pm

Would it make sense if you knew you would be using N2O often (only to race at a sanctioned track) to build a little smaller CID with a smaller cam and mix a plate & fogger Question

Instead of building a E-85 547 with 12.5-13:1 CR build a 472-521 CID with a pump gas friendly 9.8-10.2:1 cr then add a Sniper plate (fixed 125 HP) and a 200-250 HP Fogger Question

Is the above Good Sense or Nonsense Question Suspect

No OR Twisted Evil Question
