When i just run 557ci 14.5:1 engine i gap my AR3933 plug at .040 and no problems at 32degree timing. If i want to hit a 150-200 shot plate what gap would be good and what timing. Thanks, Bob
Hey Bob,
Sorry for the slow reply, but here's my thoughts..
If it were mine and with 14.5 to 1 and wanting to spray it I would go to a 3932 plug at about .025 to .030 gap.
You mentioned that last year you blew the head gasket out ???
As far as your fuel goes, I would pick one and stay with it. The couple of guys I have helped that ran Renagade didn't run it for long. Seemed we needed to run quite a bit more fuel pressure to make things happy. On a BBF with high compression I would sure take a look at VP NO2 fuel.
As for the 150-200 HP plate system ?? I'm not sure who's system you have or what size nitrous and fuel jets your calling 150-200 ??? The proper N/F ratio has a lot to do with the timing you'll need to retard as well as the results you'll get out of the set up.. We blueprint, flow and properly jet map a lot of plate systems and the results are all over the place depending on the style of plate, solenoids used, and the line sizes. Bruno found this out as his main restrictions weren't even his jets..
Hope this helps.. Steve
