got the new chromoly tree done and fiberglassed in today , it weighed in at 6.2 lbs 
. The way I built it I can now trim off about an 8" strip of fiberglass under the hood on the front cap all the way across the front. The mild steel tree weighed a little over 12 lbs so it was worth the effort .
