do we still have fuel and air distribution problems with this piece ?

how much of a carb spacer are most guys running with manifold ?

Personally I don't think we have fuel and air distribution problems with that C-460 intake. I think it is as good as any other single plane cast intake manifold. There is some porting you can do on it to improve things a little, but it's certainly not a "bad apple". I have one truck puller that was running Profiler #205 heads and the Thor manifold on a small cubic inch deal. I convinced him to try my ported C-460 manifold, with a money back guarantee. He did and gained a good bunch of torque and horsepower both,,,,, said he wasn't taking the C-460 manifold off the engine and sent me my check.

The C-460 headed combo with a C-460 intake manifold is a good deal. We have already seen that with Robert Snowball's 598 engine making around 1150 Hp and a bunch of torque. Your bigger problems are going to be putting that kind of torque and power to the ground.
