What tire pressures do you guys run

The tires are m/t et drag 14x32 with tubes & I think I am running them a little to low on pressure, I am running about 7psi.

i run 28x10.5 between 10 and 13 psi

My 12.2x 31.5 Pheonix tires like 8#'s , the M/T 10.5 W's like 9.5.

I'd think a big tire would want 5.5-7.5, but it depends on the sidewall, weight, and set up etc.

A good pic from the starting line as the car leaves is worth a lot, that and the wear pattern on the tires can be a good indicator also.

I run the same tire....blow them up to about 9# and try it.
The more pressure you can run consistantly, the better.

28 x 10 w/ stiff side wall -- no tubes -- 9.75lbs @ 3200lbs

15x33 m/t 5-7.the more psi you can run the better it'll act at the far end. Smile

I think when we ran big tires we ran like 8-9psi but it was a light car. we run 13-15, depending on track conditions, now on our 29.5x10.5 tires. with our 28x10.5s tires with 10 psi our bead locks would hit the ground on launch.

I run 32x14 stiffs w/ tubes at 9 psi on motor 8 on spray.

It all depends on how hard the car hits the tires. My goal is to have as few ringles as possible and still hook. Also shocks can let you run more or less air. I think I got mine purdy close cheers

28x10.5 M/T ET Drag currently on a 15x10 rim tubeless. 13psi warm seems to be the ticket.

10.5 psi @3000lbs. 60 ft goes all to hell if I go higher than that.

3080lb 87 LX with me in it. MT 28x10.5 regular wall with tubes, 15x8 rim, Car 60fts at 1.39-1.40 with 13.75 to 14 lbs of air. Sounds like lot but the tires wear even and I started at 10psi and worked my way up and each time the 60ft numbers got better till I got past 14psi.

I run 28x10.5 MT on a 15x8 rim w/ tubes around 10.5 lbs of air. (+/- .5 lb)
