Well the mock up engine is out for the final time. The engine bay got squirted with some paint. It looks a whole lot better in black.

I need to clean this side up Rolling Eyes . Do a little fit and finish on the wiring.... going to try and kinda like hide it in the inner fender well affraid . But I'm not going to tackle that project til after the new mill is in it. Cause I know the wiring worked before I removed the engine and this way I'll know it should work after the engine is installed Laughing

Here's a shot of how the trans cooler was re-done. It used to sit sideways down in front of the passenger front tire. One of the old blue support braces is still hanging there.

After you make sure they fit, you should send them out to be coated! I can't stand rusty headers!

They fit great and I thought about coating them but didn't think they would turn out too well since they have been around awhile, been run, then sat, then rusted, etc. I hate to spend big bucks on them to only come out half way decent. Maybe I'll contact someone and have them take a look at them and see what they say Idea

Those headers look great!! Better fit and no bashed in tubes!!

On my T-bird, the starter solenoid is on the passenger side cuts down on a bit of wiring.

our starter solenoid is behind the dash inside the car. hides lots of wiring that way. like you said run the wires in the fender and move soem things around and it will clean up nicely.

edit: after looking at the pictures more you can put everything inside the car if you wanted. just an idea. Very Happy

Okay guys since we're on the solenoid thing....why do I have a starter solenoid and an auxillary solenoid? I didn't do that and got to thinking after the engine was out and doing what has been done now, what can I move to where and what can I eliminate?

I only have one. I power the entire front off of the starter solenoid except the FAST and MSD which I wire straight to the battery in the back. I would mount the coil on your motor plate and everything else inside the car.

When I say starter solenoid I mean one on the starter and plus the external "auxillary" solenoid.

put a loop wire on the one on the starter, another words plug a wire on it and hook it to the main battery post on the starter so it will energise when the buttn is hit. and use the one inside..
