The factory gear reduction starters want that other solenoid used as a relay, they are wired this way from the factory for a reason. The deal will not de energize right without it...............dont ask me why.

WOW
It's been quite some time since I've given any updates on this. I bought a house and been pre-occupied with it and with life in general
.
Blake has the short block together, cam is in and degreed
. He has one head done and working on the other one and should be done with it real soon then he'll flow them to see what they'll do.
Blake's cam choice is a Comp Cams cam .276/.286 @ .050, 110*separation, .689/.710 lift before lash solid flat tappet named the "Snake Series - Barbed Wire Edition"
......hmmmm wonder how that name came about
Got THE new TFS intake and ordered a QFT 1150 cfm QFX series carb from Lem. Don't have pics to show off the porn cause everything I've ordered has been shipped directly to Blake. So it'll be SOON that I'll be headed to Owensboro to dyno this puppy
I'll post flow numbers and updates as I recieve them.
Blake did send me these

Soon grasshopper......real soon............

Should make some decent power! Post some pictures and dyno results when you have them.

That's cool Mike, it looks like were at the same step in our engine builds.
Bet a huuunderd bucks I can beat you
Will you be going to the friday night heads up at milan with that at all? I saw a red stang like yours pull the wheels at the last one I went to. Then he came down in the left lane with a broken suspension part and veered back into the right lane. The brakes went out and he hit the wall

Looking good. I like how you dropped the weight off the nose by getting rid of the radiator support. How much did that weigh?
