Need an MPFI manifold for 557 and turbo help

Post  Orcburner on May 1st 2010, 10:11 am

Hello,
I am at the beginning of my build. I have a 429 that I'm rebuilding. I'm puting a stroker kit in it to pump it up to 557ci. I'm going to use trick flow heads. 9.8:1 compression ratio. not totally sure on the cam yet, will have around .650" lift. my main question is this... There is a Holley Multi port fuel injection kit that I want to use, but it does not come with a intake or injectors. Anybody know of a good manifold for this setup and how many pounds should I go with on the injectors (was thinking like 60lbs).

Thanks.

in addition: I'm leaning towards a twin turbo system. from what I've read I think I'd go with around 8lb turbos. I'm new to the turbo world so not sure what type or size to go with and I could also use some help with what kind of waste gate setup to use. I know I have to use a cam with more seperation (if i remember correctly) and use copper head gaskets. any other tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

I contacted Turbokits.com and for what I want they suggested t3/t4 turbos and a pair of Tial 38mm external wastegates. anybody running this setup?

That's a great little program. But I'm not sure how much hp I'm gonna make. I've seen similar engines with Carbs around 725hp.
