help with rear gear selection

I am building a 1984 fox mustang, 9" rearend with 31 spline axles and posi, c6 trans with 3,000 stall, 429 bored .030, flattop pistons, balanced rotating assembly, DOVE heads with big valves and port work, 1.73 rockers, c460 cam, headers, 950 prosystems carb. What gearing would be good for street and some 1/4 mile racing? I was thinking 373.
