Anglia, it just brings a smile to my face. Very Happy I love them, gotta be careful whit them at high speed thought that's for sure. Actually, you have to be careful all the time with them. I've seen some bad stuff happen with them, it depends on how the wheels are setup on it. Too wide and it'll tip. Sometimes this stuff happens....Sad

no thanks. That 90 inch wheelbase is too short for me. expected mph in the 1/8th is around 135 so I would like 100"+ wheelbase. I have driven an Anglia with a 351c with a g-force trans. It went 9.40 in the 1/4 and I told him I would NEVER drive it again.

A depends moment. Laughing Its probably best if you keep it as a street car OR take the rear fenders off and bring the wheels farther out. Get a 59 anglia 100E then. Cool Laughing

EDIT- never mind, that's 87"! Those are small cars, built smaller so they were cheaper. Well good luck on the capri. Very Happy

anyone know where I can find a 1969-1974 Ford Capri Mk1. I think that will be a winner if we can get our hands on one.[/quote]

Ebay has a pretty clean 73 without a motor or transmission right now.
