this is true, my "4.33" is actually a 4.28............not sure how much that matters. Either way at that mph with the given gear and tire size the trap rpm should be a lot lower than 7400

When I bought it from Rich Talley at the Bash I counted it,I'm pretty sure it was a 4.33. Like Jon said,4.29 thru 4.30 it should'nt change that much.

You can get away with the converter slip being lower and using a steeper gear.......if the car will 60' good with this combo it will move the car down the track better.

it was a 1.40 60 foot it wasn't a good launch the tires lift and settle right back down. Haven't done any shock of strut adjustments yet. will be renting the track one day this week if there is time before the big race this weekend just to play with settings.
I just changed from 4:10 to 4.57 its only a scat nodular crank so I didn't want to turn it too high. which gear do you recommend?

I do have a fresh 'glide with a 1:84 low gear sitting in my computer room waiting on the big bullet. should it help a bit?
