Anyone have a pic of a Precision Performance kwik shift shifter installed?

Post  77f150 on July 28th 2010, 9:32 pm

Looking at replacing my B&M shifter and I've set my sights on a Precision Performance Kwik Shift I shifter. Anyone have a pic of one installed? Thanks.

Here's mine John.
I didn't buy the fancy mounts. Just simple and functional.

Thanks Mike, that's what I needed. I'm using the trans brake micro switch to activate my reverse lights and the B&M cable will hook right up. Really helpful folks to talk with.

Dropped the transmission off yesterday for the rebuild and when I got home found out I had a package at the Post Office. Took a couple pics before getting ready to mount in the truck.

Cool John
You'll like it.
It might take you a little while to figure out the going back to park shifts.
Well maybe not if you bolt it down to that computer desk tonight
Just don't wear it out before the trans gets done.

You can order a cable through www.percisionperformance.com as one of the many options. If you already have a B&M shifter the cable will work with both shifters. The guy who is doing my transmission is on vacation this week and next so it'll be a little while before I get to try it out.

Well it's been a long drawn out process but the truck is in the shop for some winter re-hab. Finally got the shifter mounted, built a box to put it in a more comfortable position, I'll get things polished up soon. The toggle on the back is for reverse lights, the shifter button is used for the line lock. The old cable was worse than I thought and when replaced the shifter works smooth as silk......just need to train myself on how to use the lockouts Very Happy
