Ok I'm not understanding the question that well?
DOes it say??? " *no supercharger or blower and dual tunnel ram with 2 1150 cfms or 1250"??
the line above that quote you asked about a 6-71?
Anyway if your going that size 557ci, a 671 is to small anyway.
You need to look at a 8-71 or a 10-71...

My list would be the following if I was in your shoes.
1. Procharger F3-117
2. Procharger F2R
3. 10-71

IMHO, I'd keep the bore a little smaller, say 4.440, to keep the walls thicker and hold the compression/combustion pressure. And, blown is right...a 6-71 is too small UNLESS you just want "the look".

blower choice
a 10-71 should do the job nicely, 6-71 too small, 8-71 close but would heat the intake charge too much.

Before you do anything you might want to see how much room you have in front of the engine. A Pro charger requires quite a bit of room as do Turbos. is the fuel cell up front already?
Be sure you havfe plenty of room if you go with a Pro charger or turbos.
If you decide on a roots, dont get anything smaller than a 10-71.
I'd also opt for an Aluminum case blower and not a magnesium. Also you might as well get the 120 degree rotors, Hi helix.
If this is a street car, Id do the tunnel ram and maybe some small shot of NOS. set up two carbs for street/race and then spray it at the track.
Roots blowers on GAs create alot of heat and are mainly for show. If you are on GAS take a hard look at a turbocharger. Unless you just want a centrifugal blower, a turbo is the same thing just more effecient, doesnt rob you with the belt.
It really depends on the type fuel you are going to run and what you are going to do with the car.
You can take advantage of some big power if you run alky mechanical injection with a blower but you can forget street.
For street /strip id look at some sort of Turbo/Gas/ EFI set up or the two carbs with NOS fogger.
