Yeah I'll have to get some this weekend. I was able to borrow a long enough caliper to check the pushrod lengths so now I am able to get some work done. After that, I will put the intake on and order some parts. I need to (don't want to ) take all the inner springs out so I can break the motor in. Parts I need:
balancer
pushrods
flexplate
headers
I have the money to get all except I might not be able to get a flexplate, dad is supposed to check at a trans shop out by work to see what their price is.

This is the one I was going to get, its the same diameter as stock so I can keep my stock pointer. Let me know what you have and how much, PM me. Thanks for the offer.

its a cat balancer , you can use the stock pointer , send my your addy and its yours

Sell ya a brand new scat sfi flexplate new in the box never bolted on for 50 bucks i got it from Lem its internal balance or i'll give ya a stocker and also have a stock balancer as well you can have but i would jump on the cat from B if i was you.

What bolt circle does the Scat one have? 11.5 right? For c6 trans? I need 164 teeth but I'm sure a different tooth count would work with the stock starter right???

Alright, figured out the pushrod length, got the intake on (I decided not to use the valley pan) the carb, spacer, and fuel lines were already bolted to the intake and has gas in it, and the air cleaner is on. Pics will be here soon.

a diffrent tooth count would not work as the diameter is smaller but yes its for a c6 and 164 tooth. Lem sells them for about 60 plus shipping the reason i have a extra one is i'm doing a motor for my buddy that was supposed to be internal balance and i didnt check the # on the crank and the balance shop called and told me it was my bad for not checkin the numbers so i had to get the external balance one plus the hachet weight and all was good. I don't have paypal but i'll ship it to you and you can send me a check for 50 bucks when ya get it i'll go snap a picture of it right now.

aaah he's just watchin out for ya people get shafted on the net a lot not here tho not that i know of and if so its rare, you do have to be careful on the net. I got shafted by this guy Lenny at ucc once, he sold me a custom converter for my mustang two and it ended up scratching up the bottom of my rear bumper all to hell and messed up my new pants and seat cover so watch out for that guy O and if he says you need wheelie bars now BELIEVE him he doesen't lie

LMAO I thought you were serious about Lenny at first, I was thinking "darn" because I wanted to get a converter from him before.

Yep, you gotta keep an eye on that Lenny guy. He sold me one of those darn converters too, and even after upping the engine 400hp, plus more tq, he was still able to upgrade that converter for the new engine, and he didn't charge much either.
