460 "multi groove" pulleys
Looking at doing a "multi groove" pulley setup on my 460 fox. I am keeping my power steering in this one!
I am wondering if anyone has a nice write up on doing this? I have searched and found that you can use SBF pulleys by enlarging the center bore on the pulleys and re drill the water pump pulley bolt pattern. I have also seen people just use the 460 truck pulleys from early 90's F350 with a 460.
I was thinking of going that route myself, the F350 pulleys...

C'mon... I thought this was the "king shit, BBF website"? I know some of you have to be running a similar setup?

What I know about this is not much but I'd think you are correct....gotta have the late model truck pulleys...the older stuff was all V groove. I assume you have a damper with stock pattern and spacing.

damper is stock from a '76 Thunderbird as of right now. I will be getting an SFI pretty soon though.

The bolt pattern should be cool then.

I have a crank and water pump pulley from my '97 F350, you can have them for little more than the cost of shipping if you want to try try them. I can take pics of the engine too if that could help figure out if the stuff will fit.

Those are actually the two pulleys I still need. shoot me some pictures and a price, they should both easily fit in a USPS flat rate box...

You can have them for $20 shipped.
Troyer Performance makes under drive pulleys for the 460 trucks. The set includes crank, water pump and alternator pulleys for $160. They might be a good option for you. I have a set on my truck and am happy with them.

Nice, except that MASSIVE power steering bracket LOL. Same setup I am going with but I will be making my own brackets like I did on my SBF I put in the RX7. Well, I just copied March brackets and it ended up costing me like $20 to get them both made so...
