they are no more..... Guess that class won't happen..... Laughing

And I agree with phillip, you need to make something it's easy for alot of peoples cars to fit into. We are a group of racers from a wide backgrounds and alot of different cars that want to play for the weekend and a class with to many specific add or change ($$) the car requirements makes for to small of classes and small prize money.

Have you guys ever though of heads up bracket racing? Pro tree heads up start with the handicap taken at the finish line? Gives the thrill of the heads up start with the fairness of the bracket race.....

Nick, you need to realize not all of us want to race a 3000#+ car on 10.5" non W tires. If that makes us less of a man than you, then that's our cross to bear........personally, I'm good.....but, if you want to slant the rules in favor of your cars specifications, don't be surprised when people take issue with it. Just a thought...... Idea

INDEX racing...?
Tune your car to go as close to the index as possible without going faster and run "heads-up".
THEN it's mostly about the driver and tuner. Wink Very Happy

EDIT: I still se th 12" tread width rule as the most fair.

Why screw up the tune we already have on our cars, the one we use every week-end, to satisfy other people, I'll just run the super pro race, and watch the small tire races, laugh at the way they have to fight, to stay between the green. Laughing

Theirs just no pleasing anyone.......... clown

But the pole definetly indicates the Big Tires are where the majority wants to be.

63% Big Tires
20% don't care
17% For 10.5

I didn't mean it that way, I race bracket racing here every week, we don't have index racing, so it wouldn't be to my advantage, to mess up my tune, for one week-end of racing, my car is pretty darn consistent, so why mess with it? Smile Very Happy

You got that right Harold. Keep it simple, plus we dont need a "heads-up" bracket S/comp, S/Gas boring crap either....

Nick, you will get tired of spinning your tires down the track, and all that crap one day......

I was simply trying to justify it ... I don't particularly like it, LOL.

The 12" ruler tread width rule is a "road race" rule for stock APPEARING cars; (they use wide tires on the front, too).

Car count and being the most fair for the masses is all that I was concerned about. Whether I like it or not is definately immaterial. Neutral

Instead of worrying about all the tire size BS,we all need to get our heads together and find a way to up the car count at the Bash. Guy's,the only reason we are even having Bash'es is beacause of our sponsors, like Lem,Phillip,Adney etc. They damn sure aren't making any big money from it. Let's start a thread about ideas on how to pack the track w/cars and forum members.Just my opinion Rolling Eyes
