Guy's,the only reason we are even having Bash'es is beacause of our sponsors, like Lem,Phillip,Adney etc. They damn sure aren't making any big money from it. Let's start a thread about ideas on how to pack the track w/cars and forum members.Just my opinion![]()
I brought my other car, well it was a truck, but he showed up, if everyone would make it a promise, hen we would be fine, one more race car from everyone, take the challenge.

I brought Bob Cochran last year and he's coming again if it happens. I got a couple more verbal promises for 2 more cars next year from the (Cheecago) area

Smoke runs
I just looked at some old 1950s or 60s dragster pictures where they smoked the tires for the whole pass.
Maybe I will step back to 1973 when I first raced my 58 and find a set of 7" cheater slicks, like I (borrowed and) used back then.
It hooked just fine with my old 427.
A "smoke run" may not be all bad?
The 7" were "big tires" back then..at least to me..

Keith,Kinda funny you mentioned this.Back in 73 I had a Maroon 57 custom 300 w/427 low riser and a 4speed.I had to trim the lips on the fenderwells to keep 9" M&H from rubbing.Sure do wish I had that car back.

I can envision a "stacker" trailer....your Falcon upstairs...and the '57 below....
The one that I got rid of and wished that I hadn't was a 1969 Mach 1 R car 428CJ shaker 4spd. I had this thing for less than a grand...got tired of it and let it go back in about 1977. That car would have skyrocketed in value about 10 years later.
Live and learn....

Keith, I had the same Mustang except with the automatic and it had every option available in '69, it was Metallic Green with Gold stripes.
