Our KOV class was this way until they changed it, I liked it better with no times shown, as a lot of the racers did.

I just dont see a reason to start another class if yall wanna grudge for some money. Work out the details and get it on, cash money bitches, no buy backs, no redo's.............first one there wins, second one don't. And dont spend all night bickering over it, it aint like yall gotta run for 10 stacks lol...........put some gopro's on the cars.

Are you talking about the typical rules of that type of clas? or opinions of what the rules should be for this particular event?

there was a race here in mongomery this weekend ( i believe ) abd it said q8 or q16 ..... just was curious as to what the standard was ....... im sure the field would be filled with 4.70 cars from the index the same day
Quick 8 is typically door car if you think you got the baddest car on the property you throw your money in and run it. What do there need to be rules for, your saying line it up and ill beat you to the stripe.

We have tons of N/T grudge stuff up here RSD, KOTS, Steet car Chaos. The difference is at the bash youve already thrown your money in. What are you gonna do, throw the money in the hat then forfiet because the guy ran a faster time than you did. Fine if you want to throw your money away I guess. The fact of the matter is that on a relatively green track anything sub 5.80 has a chance because anything can (and usually does)happen at those speeds. Will it get down the track every pass?, Will you get treed?, Will you miss a shift?, Will something break? Theres no need for it to be N/T, its not really grudge racing, nothing is being negotiated prior to running. Its simply a fun little dash for the cash, and the faster guys can line up and run them off. Simple.
