Dan From Northeast Wisconsin

For the most part you all know me as TRUKPULR on the udder 460 board or as ShaZam from the Reddogs board.
My Name is Dan Homa I live in a little town of Porterfield, WI just out side of the big city of Marinette, WI.
For the pass 11 years I've been involved in Pulling Trucks. Back then I was raised to believe that it was a gear-head sport. You wrenched on your stuff and got it to pull better then the other guys junk, Then you had something to brag about.

Well this year Pulling has taking a turn for the worst I think, it’s now who has the thicker wallet wins at the pulls.
I showed up at a pull this year and there where 10 Professionally build motors out of the 25 trucks that where there. We had Goodwin, Rea- Morrison, and Steve Schmitt just to name a few of the big hitters. And my Junk 530 just don’t make the power those guys are making.
On July 25th I dropped an intake valve at the Denmark pull and decided to take the rest of the season off to find more power over the off season. Now I have to send the heads down to Uncle Charlie and have him fix the chamber I boggered up and replace the valves and spring. Then I have to order up some new pistons and get it back together and ready for next season.
If my Junk can’t compete with the big boys stuff then I guess I’ll just have to stay closer to home from now on.

So there you have it me.. Well almost me
A few weeks back I turned 52 and for my birthday my wife thought I should get a more fuel-efficient car and park the grunt truck during the winter. So with the cash for clunker deal going on I went to my local Ford dealer to get a new car. Only problem was they had sold all there cars off the lot already. So they said they could order me what I wanted and it'll take a few weeks for it to show up. So I went there with the intension of buying a 2010 Ford Focus SeS.

This is what I brought home.


So Far it's getting 24 mpg. So that better then 15 mph I was getting with my F250 Diesel Right.
