Vent fitting on C6, best spot to tap?
Since the destruction of my C6 has meant a complete rebuild I've been reading through the posts by Frank and others. I saw mention of putting a 1/8" pipe thread in the case for a barb fitting to allow a vent; is there any place better than another on the case for this or an area to avoid? Thanks.

Thanks, I'll add it to the "to do" list.

How is the factory vent fitting held in the case, is it threaded in? Where does the vent fitting go into, does is it just lead into the upper bell housing area?

It is just a press in fit ,there are serations on the fitting to help hold it there . . Best way is to get some multi-grips , pull the cap off then grab the fitting and it will wriggle out.

Thanks. Am I going to have any problem getting the fitting and hose to fit under my CSR trans shield?
