A cable is probably very slightly lighter and can flex around something if needed.

Exactly, kinda hard to push a stuck throttle back closed with a normal cable setup, & a toe-hook on a solid link makes it even easier.

What does this toe hook look like? Makes perfect sense to me.

It's just a small piece of tubing or flat strip material welded to the gas pedal that's bent (up/around) over the toe giving you a way to close the throttle if the throttle gets stuck or the throttle springs come off.

X2...Exactly what I run.
Get good rod ends....not the ones from the Dorman section at the parts house.

X3 solid linkage with ends and a toe hook for me. Had to use a toe hook years ago. Got overly excited and jammed the linkage. Have never run anything without it since.

I'm going solid, seen to many of those throttle cables coming out of adjustment and not opening all the way. Then not being able to un-stick the throttle with a cable.

If you run a dominator, stay away from the Lokar deal . It sucks........................ I run a aluminum tube linkage with rod ends on it. Works great.
