Yes we can sonic test blocks when requested. If you buy a new SVO block from Lem, it comes with a sonic test sheet. Yes, blocks can be offset bored and it should not affect end play on the crankshaft. When you think about it, there is a certain amount of lateral movement of the rod on the piston pin, and this can "absorb" that amount of offset boring, when/if you offset bore a block on the non-thrust walls.
