Okay Ill give in. According to Wikipedia, it was Steve McQueen. He did in fact come up with old Solar-Seat. It was produced by his production company Solar Productions, along with the movie buisness. The thought came about since seeing some freinds get injured in normal bucket seats while off-roading.
Its kind of odd I think on the trans-brake deal, since he was a road racer... But thats what it said. Could you see his 917K Porsche take off with one at Lemans Laughing Shocked Shocked
BTW,the #22 car is owned by Jerry Signfeld now.

I was going to say Jerry Sienfeld too like from the show to be an azz, too weid. Laughing so what does a seat have to do with the trans brake? Or is that unrelated?

You need to slow down and re-read it. FYI, he is accredited for designing the seat and trans-brake. His old movie car (Lemans) is owned by Jerry Sienfeld... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I read it a couple times before posting, no need to be rude. And I know Jerry wasn't the one who invented it.
